Defunding the police is allocating or reallocating funds towards social programs that help the community thrive. How we can do this is to watch policy and budgets, advocate and speak out at community events such as school board and city council meetings or even in larger forums. It is our right to assemble in peace. We desire to educate the community about what's going on and the different options available such as social services, educational non-profits, and health services that are available to help.
We believe all people can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
We confront injustices that disproportionately affect Black and Brown communities, we provide education on anti-Blackness and the systemic racism within our governmental institutions, we keep us safe.
To create agents of change committed to grassroots politics.
